IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING INSURANCE CLAIM SUPPLEMENTS

  • Your final supplement check may arrive long after work is complete
  • Additional funds are due upon receipt
  • Your insurance company may allocate additional “overhead and profit” to you claim depending on the number of trades involved
  • If your mortgage company is listed on the check, it must be endorsed by them; please call them to discuss their process on endorsing
  • If your claim increases in value, you are still only responsible for your deductible

The process of insurance claim supplement submission and approval can take time; do not be surprised if a payment arrives for work completed weeks ago.  These funds are payment for work completed by Sky Manor Roofing, and are payable upon receipt.

Often a mortgage company will be listed as a co-payee on insurance claims payments, and must be endorsed by the mortgage company.  Please make your project manager aware of any additional forms your individual mortgage company requires.

When multiple trades are involved to repair your damaged property, Sky Manor Roofing may be entitled to an additional Overhead and Profit allocation.  This amount is paid directly by your insurance company on a case by case basis, and constitutes a portion of the claim as a whole.  It covers the extra oversight and coordination of multiple trade projects.

*Regardless of supplement costs approved by your insurance company, your only out of pocket cost will be your Deductible, except in cases where optional upgrades are specifically requested by the homeowner, or in cases of “ACV Only/Non-Recoverable Depreciation” or “No Code Coverage” policies. Check with your insurance agent to verify terms of your insurance policy.
