Sky Manor Window and Door Info: SECTION 5

Selling retail, insurance, and financing (RENU loan)

Section 5: Selling Retail, Insurance, and Financing

When it comes to paying for new windows, we of course have cash deals and insurance claims, but we have a great 3rd option with the Colorado Residential Energy Upgrade (RENU) loan program.

For insurance, as with roofs, we love finding storm damaged windows.

Financing: Colorado Residential Energy Upgrade (RENU)

When it comes to paying for new windows and doors, financing can make or break a deal. Whether you're dealing with an insurance claim or cash deal, if you're doing a great job of educating your homeowners on the higher-end window options like discussed in the previous sections, you'll end up with higher than average contract amounts. This is where financing can help you close the sale!

There are lots of contractor financing programs out there (Greensky is the main one), all of them have super high interest rates and costs to us, the contractor. We don't offer these.

The RENU loan program is our only financing option with use. In order to qualify for this loan, homeowners have to use an approved contractor and we are one of the few approved window contractors in it in Denver.

Their site does a great job covering the program so I won't repost it here, but do check it out sometime as
